Our dehydrated hashbrowns are a versatile product to have on hand.  These potatoes come already peeled and shredded so there is no mess, plus it is easy to reconstitute to use for baking and frying.  Hashbrowns are great to have for any meal of the day; they are not just the breakfast potato.  These can be used for making your favorite potato casserole or mixing different items with them to make a great breakfast in the morning.  You will not want to be without your hashbrowns in a time of emergency.  These are a need for your long term food storage staples. 

Ingredients:  Potato (DRY), corn starch, dextrose, onion powder, freshness preserved with: sodium bisulfite and BHT.

Shelf life estimates are based on industry studies from sources deemed reputable. Since Rainy Day Foods has no control over individual storage practices, they must disclaim any liability or warranty for particular results.

Shelf Life:  Should be stored in cool dark place- optimum condition is 60 degrees or less- for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store up to 5-10 years. Bulk products need to be repackaged for long term storage.

Nutritional Information

Directions:    Pour 1 cup potatoes into 3 cups salted boiling water.  Turn down heat and simmer until tender (10-15 minutes). Drain.  Yields 2 cups reconstituted potatoes.  Use in any recipe calling for potatoes. May be refrigerated, keeping well covered when water is drained.  Fry on well oiled grill at 375* for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
