Our 9 grain cracked cereal is a versatile product to have on hand and in your long term food storage.  This mixture of nine grains is cracked to make a lovely cereal.  This cereal has a hearty texture to it.  It is a great way to start your morning.  Add a little bit of honey to it and you will have a nutritious start to your morning.  This cracked grain can also be ground into a 9 grain flour.  Use this in making your breads and rolls.  This is a must have for your long term food storage!  

Ingredients:  Hard red wheat, soft white wheat, barley, oats, corn, millet, flax, buckwheat, and rye.  No preservative added.

Note: Due to elevation and/or temperature changes, buckets may be concave or convex upon arrival, normally this is not a problem. Buckets may be reshaped by removing lid, reshaping bucket and then replacing the lid. Product is not compromised since it is protected by the mylar bag.

Shelf life estimates are based on industry studies from sources deemed reputable. Since Rainy Day Foods has no control over individual storage practices, they must disclaim any liability or warranty for particular results.

Shelf Life:  Should be stored in cool dark place- optimum condition is 60 degrees or less- for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store up to 15 years. Bulk products need to be repackaged for long term storage.

Directions:   Cook 1/2 cup with 1 cup water simmering on low heat for 10 minutes until tender.  Serve with milk and honey.  May be cooked over night in crock pot by adding water and honey.  Slow cook overnight.  Great in breads.
