Our tapioca pudding is a great product to have on hand.  The tapioca pearls are of the small variety and can be used to make tapioca pudding or used to thicken pies or cobblers.  It is great when you throw some fresh fruit in with it.  This pudding is also for people that are gluten intolerant.  This is great to have on hand when you need to whip up a great dessert or a snack for your family.  This is a necessity for your long term food storage needs.

Ingredients:  Tapioca pearls. Naturally gluten free product.

Packaged in a plant that handles milk, wheat, eggs, soy, and tree nut products.

Shelf life estimates are based on industry studies from sources deemed reputable. Since Rainy Day Foods has no control over individual storage practices, they must disclaim any liability or warranty for particular results.

Shelf Life:  Should be stored in cool dark place- optimum condition is 60 degrees or less- for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store up to 15-20 years. Bulk products need to be repackaged for long term storage.

Directions:  Use as thickener and texturizer for puddings and baby foods.

For pudding:  Add 1/3 cup sugar, 3 Tbsp. tapioca, 1 1/2 cups milk and  1 well beaten egg in a saucepan and let sit 5 minutes.  Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full boil.  Pudding thickens as it cools.   Remove from heat.  Stir in 1 tsp. vanilla.  Cool 20 minutes; stir occasionally.  Spoon into dishes.  Serve warm or chilled.  Store leftover pudding in refrigerator.

Microwave directions: Prepare as above in large microwaveable bowl.  Microwave on HIGH 10-12 minutes until mixture comes to a full boil, stirring every 2 minutes.  Cooking time is approximate.
