Overview

Onion seasoning and soup mix is a great product to have on hand.  This makes the beginning of a great soup base or you can use it to roast meats and vegetables or just plain vegetables.  This can be used for a great gravy or an au jus for your french dip sandwiches.  This is a must have for your food storage needs.

Ingredients:  Dried onions, garlic, salt, sugar, maltodextrin, hydrolyzed soy protein, corn oil, spice extractives, yeast extract, caramel color, and paprika. This product is non-GMO.

Onion Seasoning and Soup Mix is a great addition to your food storage supplies. It is delicious on meats and poultry and adds a great flavor to vegetable dishes, soups and casseroles. This onion seasoning and soup mix makes a delicious onion soup or add less water to make a great tasting au jus sauce. You can also make a wonderful dip for chips or vegetables.

Shelf life estimates are based on industry studies from sources deemed reputable. Since Rainy Day Foods has no control over individual storage practices, they must disclaim any liability or warranty for particular results.

Shelf Life:  Should be stored in cool dark place- optimum condition is 60 degrees or less- for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store up to 10-15 years. Bulk products need to be repackaged for long term storage.

Directions:  For seasoning, rub on meat or poultry before cooking. Add as desired to vegetable dishes, soups or casseroles. To make a dip, add 1/4 cup seasoning to 16 oz sour cream. For onion soup, add 1/4 cup mix to 4 cups water (may add more or less for desired taste) in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes. Makes about 3 1/2 cups soup. To make an au jus sauce, just reduce the water to make a thicker sauce to suit your personal preferences.
