Our whole green peas is a great vegetable to have on hand.  This vegetable is great for making soups, casseroles, and other dishes.  Whole green peas must be soaked for at least 8 hours in water before using.  They retain their nutrients and they are great to add a vibrant green color to your dishes.  Whole green peas are high in fiber and other nutrients.  They can be sprouted for salads and other dishes.  This is a must have for your long term food storage staples.

Shelf Life:  Should be stored in cool dark place- optimum condition is 60 degrees or less- for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store up to 20-25 years. Bulk products need to be repackaged for long term storage.

Nutritional Information

Directions:  Best used for sprouting.  May also be used in cooking.   Rinse.   For overnight soaking, cover each cup of peas with 3 cups water and let stand overnight or 12 hours.  Rinse and cover with water.  Bring to a boil and simmer about 1 hour.  May use seasoned stock made from chicken, beef, ham or other meat.  Chopped vegetables may be added if desired.   Season as desired and serve.
