Our cornstarch is a versatile powder that can be used for baking and household chores.   Cornstarch is a great thickening agent for your soups, stews, and stir frys.  It is also used for baking fruit pies, puddings, and other goodies.  Cornstarch is also the base ingredient for playdough - that stuff we all played with as children.  So if you have kids or grandkids around, make them some playdough and watch them have fun.  Cornstarch is also great for removing ink stains and other hard to get stains out of carpets and clothes.  Use it to polish your silver.  Cornstarch is a need for your long term storage needs!

Shelf Life:  Should be stored in cool dark place- optimum condition is 60 degrees or less- for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store up to 20 years. Bulk products need to be repackaged for long term storage.

Directions: To thicken hot liquids, mix cornstarch with a little cold liquid until smooth before adding to hot liquids. May also be stirred into sugar before adding to recipe. When recipe calls for flour to thicken soup and stews, use half as much cornstarch as flour.
