Our natural buckwheat is a versatile product to have on hand.  Natural Buckwheat is great for people who are sensitive to wheat and gluten.  Buckwheat is a seed that is closely related to the rhubarb family.  Buckwheat does not have any gluten in it so this is great for people that cannot have gluten.  Buckwheat can be used to make cereal; it can be ground into flour to make bread, cookies and other recipes that call for flour.  Natural Buckwheat can also be used instead of rice. It provides a change in your diet when you may be tired of other grains.  Buckwheat is great for the body.  This is a must have for your long term food storage. 

Ingredients:  Natural Hulled Buckwheat.  No preservative added. Naturally gluten free product. This product is non-GMO.

Shelf life estimates are based on industry studies from sources deemed reputable. Since Rainy Day Foods has no control over individual storage practices, they must disclaim any liability or warranty for particular results.

Shelf Life:  Should be stored in cool dark place- optimum condition is 60 degrees or less- for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store up to 20-25 years. Bulk products need to be repackaged for long term storage.

Directions:  It is not a wheat so is gluten free.  Pancakes and waffles are the most common uses. May be cooked as a cereal or ground for baking purposes.  As it contains no gluten it should be mixed with other flours for baking.
