Nutritional Information

Directions:  Use as thickener and texturizer for puddings and baby foods.

For pudding:  Add 1/3 cup sugar, 3 Tbsp. tapioca, 1 3/4 cups milk (for thinner pudding, add more milk) and 1 well beaten egg in a saucepan and let sit 5 minutes.  Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full boil.  Pudding thickens as it cools.   Remove from heat.  Stir in 1 tsp. vanilla.  Cool 20 minutes; stir occasionally.  Spoon into dishes.  Serve warm or chilled.  Store leftover pudding in refrigerator.

Microwave directions: Prepare as above in large microwaveable bowl.  Microwave on HIGH 10-12 minutes until mixture comes to a full boil, stirring every 2 minutes.  Cooking time is approximate.
